As one of the first in the Netherlands we present to you the Big-Float.

The Big-Float is a unique machine. Specially equipped with pontoons for several operations on wet grounds. Swamps, mud-banks, canals and other shallow-water areas.

The pontoon/Caterpillar tracks of the Big Float measure about 11 metres and have a width of 1.5 metres per (per caterpillar). Because of that, the carrying capacity is huge and more than sufficient enough for shallow water-areas. For greater depths, if necessary, we can also supply an additional set of pontoons with outriggers that have to be fitted to the Big Float. This extra set contains outriggers of 6 metres to secure the stability.

With its boom of 17 metres and a dredge bucket it is especially fit for dredging operations. Your cars or dumpers can be directly loaded from the water. Even when you work with a depot on the spot, the Big Float is an all-rounder. We make the depot, place the steel planking and then we drive the machine into the water to dredge.

Because the Big Float is equipped with extra hydraulic functions it is suited for the maintenance of green, for instance in an area such as "De Biesbosch". We can supply accessories such as an excavator bucket or a special cutter-equipped treegrabber (The Lumberjack) which we can use to cut trees into a diameter of 45 centimetres. Other suitable accessories are: a vibrator, a dredge pump, a dredge bucket or a tilt-equipment.

This machine can be easily transported on a Euro low-loader. After pushing in the pontoon/ caterpillar track the total width amounts to 3.7 metres. On a Euro low-loader the height is about 4.2 metres.
